Do you take emergency calls?
Yes — 24/7. Call 707-267-0056. Burst pipes, active leaks, sewer backups, no-water situations, and suspected gas leaks all get priority. For non-emergencies, we'll work you in as soon as we have a slot.
How fast can you come out?
For emergencies, we move as fast as drive time allows — same-day is the norm. For scheduled work in Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, and Fortuna we can usually be there within 24–48 hours. Outlying areas like Willow Creek, Weaverville, and Hayfork take a little longer to schedule, but we make the drive.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. California CSLB License #1155008 — active, bonded, and insured with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. The license number is on every invoice and visible in the footer of this site per state law.
What's your service area?
Humboldt County and western Trinity County, California. That includes Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Trinidad, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Loleta, Hydesville, Willow Creek, Hoopa, Weaverville, and Hayfork. Outside that list, call and ask — we make exceptions for the right job.
Do you do the City of Eureka sewer lateral inspection?
Yes. If you're selling a home in Eureka, the City requires the upper (house-to-property-line) and lower (property-line-to-main) sewer laterals to be inspected and certified. We perform the inspection, document it for the City, and handle any repair work the inspection turns up.
Do you work with customer-supplied fixtures?
Yes. Bring the faucet, toilet, water heater, or disposal you bought and we'll install it. We'll also do the shopping if you'd rather. Either way, we replace shutoff valves and supply lines while we're in there so the new fixture isn't sitting on tired old parts.
Will you tell me whether to repair or replace?
Yes, and we'll tell you honestly. A 12-year-old water heater that's leaking is usually a replace, not a repair. A toilet that runs intermittently is almost always a $25 rebuild kit and an hour of labor. We don't pad the job.
Do you do gas line work?
Yes, and only licensed plumbers should. We do gas leak detection, repair, new appliance gas line runs, and pressure testing. If you smell gas, leave the house first, then call us from outside.
